Was told I had to pay to get my check engine light diagnosed even if it resulted in a manufacture warranty issue which is absurd to pay if the warranty is suppose to cover up to 100k miles which I was under. It felt like I was a dollar sign and there was no flexible or customer focused solution.

The interaction with the appraiser was very good and forthright. The deal was completed quickly and without any pressure. If I had any questions it would be why does it take 6 days to get a check for the of my car.

I brought my car in for a recall repair. The check-in process was quick, and the staff were polite and efficient. My car was repaired in less than an hour, and they even gave it a wash. It was nice and clean when I got my car back. I am very happy with this facility.

Overall I had a good experience. My sales rep Khalid was top notch and super friendly. The financing team was amazing too. My only complaint of the whole process was that they said they were going to “detail and gas up” the car I was purchasing. When I received it, it was still very dirty and only had half a tank of gas. I felt like that was kind of wrong and have never experienced that anywhere else, but outside of that they were a good team.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I went to Pedder Hyundai of Poway interested in a used 2020 Hyundai Kona SEL Plus that they had explicitly advertised online for $14,830. I did my homework, verified the vehicle's history, and came to the table ready to make a straightforward purchase for my daughter.
Instead of a transparent transaction, I got the classic bait-and-switch. The moment we actually sat down to negotiate, they inexplicably raised the asking price of the car. It was a fair experience I like the desk staff very much; they're very accommodating, however, I was there for an oil and filter change and tire rotation and I checked my dipstick when I got home and my oil level was low. I had to add a pint of oil to bring the oil to full on the dipstick. Not a huge deal--but still ...

Staff promptly moved my appointment to later in the afternoon when they realized they had more work in the morning to complete. I appreciated that they called and texted to inform me of this change. Lounge/waiting area for service was undergoing remodeling. If I stayed to wait, it would have been nice if there were tables or desks dedicated as a workstation with chargers for tech.

We took our 2023 Sonata in for oil change service, etc. They were efficient and did good work. Took a little over 2 hours. The waiting area is clean and pleasant with several amenities. Even washed the exterior of the car when they were finished. Noe Garcia has been my service rep for over 14 years. He is great to work with.
I brought my car in for a brake inspection and was told my rear brakes needed replacement. Thinh gave me a quote that was very fair, so I gave them the OK. Not only did they do a great job, but was well under the quote, which is unheard of in this day and age of High prices. Thank you Thinh and Pedder! Joe

The service advisor was above and beyond! I had not enjoyed my experiences with Kearny Mesa Hyundai, but Pedder was amazing. I felt comfortable and trusted their recommendations. They kept me in communication the entire time and were very quick. Price came in under estimate.
I appreciate Service Advisor Noe Garcias’ professionalism, friendly demeanor and fair competitive pricing for my car services. More companies need to understand that it’s the people that interact face to face with customers that make them return to do business.
Due to engine failure, I had to have it replaced. It was covered by warranty, as this was a known problem. It took about 10 days for Hyundai to receive the new engine, then about 3 days to put in the replacement. They did provide a loaner car. All in all, despite the wait time, I was satisfied with Pedder Hyundai. Noe kept me up to date on the status of my car.
The service advisor was very helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service was excellent. I will definitely come back to get my vehicle serviced.
